3. Permissions and Device Access

3.1 Camera Access

Camera access is only requested when you choose to use camera features and is used solely for the purposes stated above. We do not access the camera in the background.

3.2 Storage Access

The App may access device storage to save photos you choose to upload and cache app data for offline functionality.

3.3 Network Access

The App requires internet connectivity to synchronize data with our servers, fetch match results, schedules, and tournament information, and authenticate users.

3.4 Location Services

We do not collect or store precise location data. When you tap the "Open in Maps" link, the App only opens your device's maps application. We do not access, collect, or store any location information from your device.

4.1 Secure Storage

• Authentication tokens and sensitive credentials are stored securely using industry-standard encryption (expo-secure-store)
• Passwords are never stored in plain text
• Photos and media files are stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 with appropriate access controls
• Database information is stored on Azure PostgreSQL with encryption at rest

4.2 Data Transmission

• All data transmitted between the App and our servers is protected using HTTPS/TLS encryption
• API endpoints are protected using JWT (JSON Web Token) authentication
• We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your information

4.3 Infrastructure

• Application infrastructure is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Photos and media files are stored on AWS S3 with secure access policies
• Database is hosted on Azure PostgreSQL with encryption and regular backups
• All API communications are secured with JWT authentication

• We retain your account information for as long as your account is active
• Match results and tournament data are retained for historical record-keeping purposes
